Just a Reminder!!!!! The Project Management Class of Keya Paha County Schools—Reece Taylor, Kassie Schrader, Thomas Carr, and Ely Weller—invites you to join our Stuffed Animal Drive from October 6 through November 24. Look for the large collection bins at the Turbine Mart in Springview, the West Plains Bank in Springview, the Rock County Library in Bassett, and the Valentine Public Library in Valentine. Every stuffed animal donated will go to charities and hospitals, helping bring comfort, joy, and smiles to children in need. Thank you for supporting our project—it means the world to us and to the kids who will benefit!

This year's one act is now underway, the team is producing a play set in a nursing home, and playing elderly people. We need your help! If you or someone you know have any props that you would feel comfortable letting us use, we would greatly appreciate any and all help/donations! Keep in mind things elderly people would wear. We need funky old clothes, bright colors and patterns, robes, pajamas, old glasses, slippers, orthopedic shoes, and slacks. For our props we need an old rocking chair, preferable wooden, and old keys that no one needs! We appreciate all of your help and support!!

Today was the State Range Judging Competition, turning Springview into a boomtown for the morning! This morning, 300-500 people gathered along Main Street to get checked in for the competition, almost tripling the population of Springview for the day. After instructions were given and everyone was checked in, the large group of FFA members and advisors loaded up and headed out to the range judging site. It was sunny with a slight breeze, a beautiful day for the competitors to be competing in. After about two and a half hours of competing, the competition was finished. Then, everyone loaded up and started their drives home.

For the community, the week of September 22nd brings homecoming. The kids will be dressing up for fun dress-up days at school, and everyone gets ready for the home game that Friday. But the week of September 22nd also brings around another big event for Keya Paha County, FFA State Range Judging. This year, FFA members from different chapters across the state will come to Keya Paha to compete in the state range judging competition. Over 500 FFA members and sponsors are going to Keya Paha County to put their range judging skills to the test to see who is the best of the best. So, if you see many different school buses, vans, and vehicles from all across the state, just know that those are FFA members from across Nebraska coming to compete.
