The Colome Junior High Boys Basketball games for tonight January 20th are postponed. A make up date has not been made. There will be NO Junior High Basketball practice tonight!!
The speech team competed on Saturday at the Valentine invite and placed 4th overall. Brenna received 3rd in humorous and 2nd in serious prose. Bailey received 2nd in novice poetry. Courtnie received 3rd in novice serious prose, and the competing OID (Oral Interpretation of Drama) placed 1st.
The team did amazing and will be practicing hard for the next meet in West Holt on the 8th of February.

The Keya Paha FFA was on the road today. Students traveled to Atkinson to compete in the District Leadership Development Events. Students competed in agricultural demonstration, natural resource speaking, junior public speaking, employment skills, and creed speaking. We are pleased to announce that Landon made it to finals in creed speaking and Zayle made it to finals in junior public speaking. Zayle received second and will advance to finals. Many of our students received very respectful placings today and full results will be in the Springview Herald.
