Recess time is full of play and play is full of learning. We are so thankful for our green play spaces that are homes for frogs and praying mantis so KPCS students can explore our beautiful world.

Today the 8th grade agricultural class sought opportunities to learn about range judging. Students participated in the District 10-south range judging competition in Sargent, NE. Students gained skills in identifying ecological sites, plant identification, and interpreting range maps. Students also stopped at a historical site explaining the history of the Sandhills rangelands. Students also stopped at the Bassett Livestock Auction to get a sneak preview of the next area of study. It was a great day full of seeking opportunities and seeking learning with this great group of engaged learners!
